  14. Well, I got the 3.0 upgrade installed on my home machine, a standalone
  15. cube, and lo and behold, Local_Printer has disappeared. When I launch
  16. PrinterManger, it doesn't find any printers attached, even though
  17. I never disconnected my faithful NextPrinter. Has anyone out there
  18. seen this? Is there some simple fix? My next try will be to nidump
  19. the printcap from one of the (2.2) NeXTs on our network at work which
  20. hosts a local next printer and then niload it at home. Surely there must
  21. be a better way, and of course, being a mathematician, I crave some
  22. logical explanation of what happened in the first place.
