- Another thing you may wish to try is.

- 1. Quit Mail.app
- 2. cd ~/Janet/Mailboxes/Active.mbox
- 3. rm table_of_contents

- This file sometimes gets corrupted and can cause major problems. If you
- remove it, it will be recreated the next time you launch Mail.app. And,
- as has already been suggested, be sure the janet has read and write access
- to the directories Mailboxex and Active.mbox and all files inside of
- there.
