- The most trivial app I can create in Project/Interface Builder seems to use
- 1.35M!! Steps to reproduce:
-
- 1) In Project Builder, do a Project.New.Application.
- 2) Press the Builder 'Run' button to build and run the app.
- 3) In Terminal, do a 'ps -agvx'and look at the RSIZE column.
-
- The RSIZE column for the app says 1.35M!
-
- Now this seems like a bit much to me. Am I looking at an accurate
- representation of how much memory my app is using? If so, is there any way to
- reduce the amount of memory used? I notice that most other apps are in the
- same range, though Librarian, Workspace and Terminal all use a little less --
- between 1.2 and 1.3M.
-
- Thanks for any suggestions...
