  11.    I've been fooling around for about a week now trying
  12. to get g++ installed on my machine.  "Fooling around" being
  13. the operative phrase there - I don't REALLY know what I'm
  14. doing when it comes to all the myriad little details of 
  15. getting a compiler to work.  I wouldn't bother with C++, 
  16. except that we're using it at school (U of Alberta).

  18. I've got libg++-1.37.0.tar.Z  (and 1.39) which won't compile
  19. under 3.0.  I have a makefile that's been hacked for 
  20. NeXTStep 2.1 - which barfs under 3.0.  I have a compiled
  21. libg++.a, but I'm not sure what version it is, or exactly
  22. where it goes.

  24. Has anyone gotten g++ running under 3.0?  I'd appreciate any
  25. and all help, I'd MUCH sooner use my cube than those damn
  26. Sun 3/60's in the lab, running SunView, yet.  Gawd, are they
  27. horrible.  Almost as bad as Windoze.
