- I've been asked to recommend a PC to be used in Togo. I had to look that up
- on a map. It's between Nigeria and Ghana, on the west coast of Africa. How
- would you select PC hardware for such a remote location? I don't know yet
- whether portability is a requirement, but a portable might be easier to ship
- out of country for repair. The IBM Think Pad Model 700 has a 3 year
- international warranty. Anyone know what an international warranty would
- mean in a place like Togo?
-
- Also, the user would like to establish electronic communication back home to
- the US. What are the options (Compuserve, Fidonet)?
-
