  13. I've been asked to recommend a PC to be used in Togo.  I had to look that up
  14. on a map.  It's between Nigeria and Ghana, on the west coast of Africa.  How
  15. would you select PC hardware for such a remote location?  I don't know yet
  16. whether portability is a requirement, but a portable might be easier to ship
  17. out of country for repair.  The IBM Think Pad Model 700 has a 3 year
  18. international warranty.  Anyone know what an international warranty would
  19. mean in a place like Togo?

  21. Also, the user would like to establish electronic communication back home to
  22. the US.  What are the options (Compuserve, Fidonet)?
