  25.     Is the process of changing the crystal as descibed above, and 
  26.     reselling it (which it seems likely to be occurring), somewhat 
  27.     an illegal practise??

  29.     I understand that this method affect the reliability of the machine.
  30.     However, are there any distinct features or symptoms between, for 
  31.     example, an original 486DX2/66 and a tempered one like above which 
  32.     a person can distinguish? especially while purchasing (if possible)?

  34.     P/S: I don't believe Intel have come out with a 486DX2/80 or 100 yet?

  37.          I seem to recall seeing some shops selling what they claimed
  38.          386DX at 144Mhz while I was back in HK a year or two. Might 
  39.          that also be obtained by using this crystal-changing method?
