- Greetings, folks...
-
- I was recently given a Mitsubishi C8652AK monitor by a company that was
- getting rid of old stuff. I don't know what it was used with, probably
- an old CAD system. It's not a multisync monitor; the specs are:
- Horiz scanning: 47-52 khz, Vertical: 60 hz, Negative sync (nobody seems
- to know what this means). Mitsubishi says it will do 1024x768x256 colors.
- It has BNC connectors in the back for Red, Green, Blue and (I assume)
- positive and negative sync. I have no documentation.
-
- The cheapest video card I've been able to find that will work with it
- is about $400, and is definitely not worth it (I could buy a new monitor
- and card for that price), and it doesn't even provide Unix support.
-
- Does anyone know of any video cards that will work with this monitor on
- a PC (ISA bus)? I'm not averse to using it as a second monitor as long
- as I can use a hercules as my main screen (that's what I'm using now).
- At the very least I'd like to be able to use it with Windows. Unix
- (Interactive or Linux) would be even better.
-
- Any help is greatly appreciated.
