- Well, I have a Boca 14.4 modem and the model number is M1440I. This
- internal FAX high-speed modem does not have *either* UART. Instead
- it has a new Rockwell chipset that *emulates* the 16450 UART. Same
- sad story about the 1 byte buffer. Just thought I would add this
- in case you are frantically searching for a chip that sez 16450/16550.
- It may not be there....
