  13. I have a BOCA v.32bis 14.4K internal modem.  I was curious whether it had
  14. the UART 16550 Chip in it.  Someone told me that it didn't, but judging
  15. from the performance, it doesn't seem to effect it.

  17. The modem does work flawlessly (with the exception of the rare CRC error)
  18. and I would recomment it as a low cost 14.4K modem (Some group purchases
  19. on misc.forsale.computers.pc-clone have found a price of 
  20. only  $219.00 plus $7 shipping.  That is amazing!

  22. Anyways, if anyone knows which UART the BOCA modem has, please reply.
  23. (I looked all through the manual, but no mention of anything..)
