  14. I've got the opportunity to buy a 386DX 40Mhz for about 400 pounds 
  15. (I think that's about ~600 dollars US, but please don't take much 
  16. account of this because I know that hardware is cheaper over there anyway!)

  18. The question is - am I shooting myself in the foot by buying a 386?
  19. Should I save my money and buy a 486 when I can? (Might be a *long* time!)
  20. Is this machine going to be fast enough to run most new software?
