- I STRONGLY disagree with Scott Hiles misstatement of fact.
- Tcsh, emacs, and rlogins all work perfectly for me. I have
- logged in from my NeXT at home, some Sparcstations in Paris,
- Apollos in Israel, Dec machines all over, IBM RS600 in NYC, without
- any problems. The only minor problem I had was with a vt100 emulator
- on the NeXT (called Stuart), which did not like the terminfo entry for
- vt100 in HP-UX (it did not backspace correctly). Changing one entry
- fixed everything.
-
- It seems we get more complaints from the Navy than from the other
- services. Maybe too much exposure to sun ;-).
