  13. It would be easier just to purchase a GPIB interface card for your PC.
  14. These are available from a number of places (including I believe HP), but
  15. I have experience with the National Instruments one.  It comes with a library
  16. of stuff that makes it dealing with it easier (though not the way I would
  17. have done it).  I also wrangled a tech manual out of them (after convincing
  18. them that yes, I it was what I wanted, and though writing device drivers
  19. was very difficult, I was up to the task) so that I could write an AIX PS/2
  20. driver for one.

  22. NI has a SCSI<->GPIB box as well, but it's pretty low performance (I can't
  23. say very good things about it).  If you find a Parallel Port <-> GPIB unit,
  24. I'd be interested in hearing about it.
