- It would be easier just to purchase a GPIB interface card for your PC.
- These are available from a number of places (including I believe HP), but
- I have experience with the National Instruments one. It comes with a library
- of stuff that makes it dealing with it easier (though not the way I would
- have done it). I also wrangled a tech manual out of them (after convincing
- them that yes, I it was what I wanted, and though writing device drivers
- was very difficult, I was up to the task) so that I could write an AIX PS/2
- driver for one.

- NI has a SCSI<->GPIB box as well, but it's pretty low performance (I can't
- say very good things about it). If you find a Parallel Port <-> GPIB unit,
- I'd be interested in hearing about it.
