  13. According to information from way deep inside the brain, the XP (Cache Memory)
  14. versions of the 793x contained up to 2MB of controller cache which was ONLY
  15. accessible by HP3000 systems running MPE.

  17. No HP9000 system have been known (or I was never told) to use that extra
  18. memory, and the XP versions of the drive, as far as I remembered, did not
  19. appear on the Price Lists for HP9000 systems (s300/500/600/800).
