- One of the people in the same dept as I work in used to be a
- programmer for Fairlight (an Australian company who make high end
- music equipment). He said the DSP (MC56001?) can support 8 audio channels
- (but I think this is 8 virtual channels which are added to form a stereo
- pair). I didn't discuss the matter in depth (so sue me :-).
