  27. I have the *two* original TOS 1.4 ROMs laying next to me because I
  28. upgraded my MEGA ST to TOS 2.06! I won't need these ROMs any more and a
  29. girlfriend with (my old :-) 520 ST has TOS 1.0 with *six* chips! I want
  30. to copy my two ROMs into six EPROMS in order to install them into her
  31. Atari! I'll give her my original ROMs, too!

  49. Exactly! What I want to do is to patch her EPROMs with WINX 2.0. It
  50. supports 40 Windows under GEM and minimized slider bars and more! There
  51. is a CPX-Module to configure the new features.
  52. You do not need to patch your ROMs, but it saves memory and loading time
  53. I think. If you have TOS 1.xx simply put WINX.PRG in your AUTO folder.
  54. If you have TOS 2.xx you'll need GEMRAM for copying your GEM into RAM.
  55. If you have a TT look into the WINX documentation: There are some
  56. Utilities recommended.
