  14. I think you might be missing MKNT.TTP using which you can change the Mikenet 
  15. setup via command line (you could change over partition setup at the start of a 
  16. certain shell-script that needs a partition, that you usually do not need)...

  20. I had a problem like this in the beginning and got a solution suggestion from 
  21. Mike that should work (even I chose another way of getting around this).

  23. MikeNet works with 32MB BGM partitions, but there is a small think you have to 
  24. look at, to get it work properly.
  25.   As I understand from your description, you can access 1040-partitions from
  26. your Mega, but not vice versa. I think that your harddisc on the Mega contains 
  27. (at least one) BGM-partition, while the 1040 doesn't have such a partition.
  28.    -> Problem: Due to the BGM partition on the Mega, the "max logical sector
  29.                size" of the Mega is set to 2048bytes, while on the 1040 this
  30.                limit is set to the "normal" 1024 bytes.
  31.                When Mikenet sends data from the Mega to your 1040 it sends
  32.                2048-byte sectors - a size, that the 1040 cannot handle as
  33.                long as its max sector size is 1024.
  34.    -> Solution #1:  Set the Max sector size on the 1040 to the same value as
  35.                     on the Mega (ICD-Boot could do this).
  36.    -> Solution #2:  Change over your partition layout with BGM partitions on
  37.                     either *BOTH* or *NONE* of your computers.
