- You're right - selling high-end machines probably has little to do
- with keeping h/w designers happy. However, being allowed to design
- around the latest-n-greatest does.

- When the Acura NSX was announced, it was publicly stated that it had
- been "in development" for the last decade. Most of that time, it was a
- high-performance toy for the designers. The logic behind letting CBM's
- hardware designers develop high-end machines would be the same: let
- them design and play with high-end machines; it keeps them happy.
- Whether you then sell the machines is another question.
