  11. Software "piracy" is no more of a clearly defined crime than network
  12. break-in's.  There aren't easy explanations for the technology itself
  13. (ever try explaining *what* software is to someone who is unfamiliar
  14. with it?) and this further contributes to the difficulty of defining
  15. the "proper" use of them.  Why don't we move this very complicated
  16. topic to eff's newsgroup for anyone who is interested in what
  17. philosophical arguments have been forwarded as well as any further
  18. discussion.
