- Or....so what I did. Go to Radio Shack, get a male and female DB-25
- connector for ribbon cable and a hunk of 25 conductor ribbon cable.

- Make sure that when you put the connectors on the ribbon cable, you
- do pin 1 to the RED painted edge of the cable. The 1000 has 2 and 3
- reversed, which is why you need another cable. You COULD take an
- IBM cable, open up ONE connector and flip 2 and 3, but why?

- I've had this ribbon cable on my machine since I bought it and there
- is NO problem with it.
