- This message is in reference to the recent exchange of public messages
- between representatives of ASDG, Black Belt Systems and GVP.
-
- Frankly, I am a bit puzzled at the reaction that some people are having to
- these messages. ASDG has done their level best to slam competing products
- from the other two companies. They have done this by misrepresenting facts,
- omitting facts, and out-right falsehood.
-
- When the victims of this dishonest marketing ploy stepped forward to
- protect themselves, in the same public fashion in which they were trashed,
- a lot of people got upset. They seemed to think that this was childish
- behavior befitting four-year olds in a sand box. The statements of defense
- have been parodied into tantrum-like rantings -- "He lied, you smell."
-
- I don't get it. Not a word of protest when the real crime was committed,
- but lots of back-bench heckling when the aggrieved parties try to right the
- wrongs done to them.
-
- What happened to the American sense of justice and fair play. That seems to
- have gone by the wayside, and now I hear cries from the greedy - "Shut up
- you guys and write me more software!"
-
- I think that Black Belt and GVP have every right to defend themselves in
- the same public forum in which their products were trashed. And shame on
- you if you don't think so.
