- Hi, reading through the adverts in PCW recently, I noticed that
- a particular monitor - the Panasonic 1381 - was a lot cheaper than
- most other monitors ie. ** about 200 quid. **
- Depending what advert you read, the specs. are :-
-
- 14" colour, .28mm dot pitch
- Multiscan or Panasync
- VGA, CVGA, SVGA or XGA :-)
- 1024x768
-
- So, I was wondering, is this monitor compatible with the archimedes
- (and/or State Machine's G8 doobries/vidc20 etc.)? Will it sync low
- enough for the standard modes (mode 12 etc.)? And why is it so
- cheap? Is the quality poor?
-
- I guess I should take a hint from the fact that I can't find it
- advertised at all in Acorn User, but you never know. (Here's hoping!)
- Even if it will only display modes 28,31, etc. it looks like it could
- be worth getting. Anyone seen/used one?
-
