  13. Hi,  reading through the adverts in PCW recently, I noticed that
  14. a particular monitor - the Panasonic 1381 - was a lot cheaper than
  15. most other monitors ie. ** about 200 quid. **
  16. Depending what advert you read, the specs. are :-

  18. 14" colour, .28mm dot pitch
  19. Multiscan or Panasync
  20. VGA, CVGA, SVGA or XGA   :-)
  21. 1024x768

  23. So, I was wondering, is this monitor compatible with the archimedes
  24. (and/or State Machine's G8 doobries/vidc20 etc.)?  Will it sync low
  25. enough for the standard modes (mode 12 etc.)?  And why is it so
  26. cheap?  Is the quality poor?

  28. I guess I should take a hint from the fact that I can't find it
  29. advertised at all in Acorn User, but you never know.  (Here's hoping!)
  30. Even if it will only display modes 28,31, etc. it looks like it could
  31. be worth getting.  Anyone seen/used one?
