Just for the record ...
TickIT is NOT an organisation of IT professionals.
It is a certification scheme for quality management systems of organisations
involved in the development and supply of software and IT systems.
The scheme has been devised by professionals and is supported by the
Department of Trade and Industry and the British Computer Society.
The aim of the TickIT scheme is to achieve improvements in the quality of software products and information systems throughout the whole field of IT supply.
