- P. Allen Currit, Michael Dyer, and Harlan D. Mills
- Certifying the Reliability of Software
- IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, vol. SE-12, no. 1
- (January 1986), pp. 3-11.
-
- It gives a method for estimating a program's mean time to failure from the
- results of statistical testing. I have no direct experience with this myself,
- but this is part of the Cleanroom method for which IBM reports an impressive
- record of success.
