- We are testing a Sun 3270 gateway to our IBM Mainframe. The way I was
- told that it works is that you FIRST log into the SUN and THEN you
- run the terminal emulator. I am new to TCP/IP services but I think that
- if would preferably work like this:
- Connect to the TN3270 demon on a known port which requires NO LOGIN and
- automagically connects you to the terminal emulation software, AND OF
- course logs you out if you exit the TE. Does this make sense? Anyone
- know how to make it work?
