  15. I'd like to know if someone out there gets better performances versus the ones
  16. a get when I use pcnfslpd from pc-nfs 4.0a...

  18. For example, to print the winlogo (size: 100Kb), from windows paintbrush, on 
  19. a hp laserjet seriesII printer (connected to a 286-10MHz parallel port), takes
  20. approximately 25 minutes...(very long)

  24. The PC is a 286-10MHz configured in dedicated mode. Its network card is a 
  25. Etherlink III 3c509.
  26. The Sun server is a SS2 running SunOS 4.1.2 and pcnfsd v2.0

  28. Here's how it goes..

  30. The transfer between SS2 and the pc print server takes place only 2 minutes
  31. after the print command has been executed from the PC!!! 
  32.  
  33. It takes more than 20 minutes to transfer the 100Kb file from the SS2 to
  34. the pc... Humm...
