- Can anyone tell me the meaning of
-
- NFS039F : The NET USE failed (code 22):
-
- from PC-NFS, following
-
- NET USE LPT1: host:lp /end=x
-
- It occurs when using NDIS drivers with a NETLAND 'Pocket-sized
- Ethernet Adaptor' - an ethernet adaptor which plugs into the
- printer port.
-
- I had very similar problems a few months ago, when testing the
- Xircom ethernet adaptor. I was not able to resolve these problems
- at the time.
-
- Attempts to re-try the 'net use' fail
-
- NFS049F : device LPT1: is already in use.
-
- Strangely enough, I have managed to get it to mount 'LPT1:'
- by careful use of <ctrl> S and <ctrl> Q during the start-up
- sequence!
-
- Is this a known bug in the NDIS drivers for NETLAND and XIRCOM
- ethernet adaptors? Are there any ethernet adaptors which work
- with NDIS drivers and PC-NFS ? I am using PC-NFS 4.0a on a 486,
- for my test, though I do not think this is relevant.
