  17. I installed some Asante LC ethernet cards with the 4.0 driver that shipped
  18. with them.  I had several occasions where they just locked the machine up
  19. and flooded the ethernet with traffic.  I verified this by looking at the
  20. activity light on another machine.  I ftp'd the 4.1 drivers and installed
  21. them and have had a lot less problems since and haven't flooded the network
  22. with traffic once :-).  They seem to be working fine now.  I've only had a
  23. couple of lockups since and I'm not sure that the cards are at fault for
  24. those.
