- Recently I had a hardware problem that caused a lot of
- reboots. (Not the best of things with a large HPFS drive.)
- When the dust finally settled my information folder was
- empty. I mangaged to reconstuct everything but the
- master help index. I know I can get the same general
- thing from the Desktop menu's help but I liked the layout
- of the master help index. If anyone could show me how to
- get it back I'd apprecitate it. (Selective install didn't.)
- I am running GA with the lattest pre-sp kernel from Hobbes
- and gt16mb patches and SP installed over that.
-
- Also, whilst I am languishing waiting to hear if CORE will
- support my tape drive under OS/2 I have been giving serious
- thought to selling the floppy monster and getting a SCSI tape
- drive and a SCSI host adapter (As SCSI devices tend not to run
- well without one.... :> ). I was hoping that people could
- email me advice and information both good and bad about
- various host adapters and tape drives and how well they
- are received by OS/2 would be greatly appreciated...
-
- I should say something here about summerizing shouldn't I?
- Oh well.
