- Every since I reformatted my hard drive, reinstalled OS/2, and service pack I
- can't get any! telecommunication program to work properly under OS/2.
-
- I'm using PCPLUS under straight DOS 5.0 to write this.
-
- My modem is a 14.4K Boca Internal set to COM3, IRQ3, 2E8. My config.sys file
- contains the (3,2E8,3) statements. I haven't used any MODE COM3 commands
- because PCPLUS hangs on Initialization with any.
-
- I have both TE/2 and PMCOMM but can't get either of them to find my modem. As
- far as I can see all the settings within the programs are correct.
-
- My problem with PCPLUS is that it drops alot of characters. The output is
- grabled. It use to work fine before my reformatting. I also changed my
- modem settings from COM4, IRQ3, 2E8 because it was conflicting with my COM2
- settings. I haven't tried to go back to my original settings but maybe I'll
- have to.
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hate have to reboot to DOS to tele-
- communicate.
