- On a side note, I am using the Zoom 14.4 internal, which also seems to
- have the Rockwell chips, but sysid under DOS says it has a 16550, as
- does the box. So, do some versions of the Rockwell chipset emulate a
- 16550, because I didn't see one on the card? Struck me as a little
- strange. And btw, I have no problems with high-speed transfers (1700+
- cps) while doing other things in the foreground. Not bad for a $220
- modem...
