  12. Hi.  
  13. I'm new to OS/2 and i want to install the os/2 Pre-Release. 
  14. Before installing, i have a few questions:
  15.  
  16. a. Do I have to format the hard-disk first?  
  17.    I heard that i can just make partitions in the HD instead. Does that
  18.    work also with C and D drivers? I meen- can I install the os/2 system
  19.    on the C drive and skip the formatting of the D drive?
  20. b. If I have to reformat any of the disks- should i format it to HPFS or
  21.    to FAT? I know that HPFS is better but will it work with DOS
  22.    applications (even languages like BC++)?
  23. c.Does the install program take care of everything? I meen- do I have to
  24.    install later the WINOS2 3.1 parts (for example) or is it done a
  25.    automatically?
  26. d. Can OS/2 handle TSR's? I have to have one for the FAX/Voice Mail card
  27.    (Complete Communicator for Windows) but i understand that TSR's work
  28.    only in DOS sessions. Is that right?
  29. e. Will my Pro Audio Spectrum 16 card work with OS/2, or do I have to get
  30.    an extention or something?
