- Boot from your OS/2 install disk. Insert disk #1 when prompted. Press
- escape when prompted. After being placed in the OS/2 command line
- insert disk #2. Stay at drive A: ; don't change to another drive!
- Type:
- [A:\] CHKDSK E: /F:3

- Now you can copy back your CONFIG.SYS file and reboot from the hard drive.
