- There's a PM app called ArchiveViewer (version 1.33) which implements
- a PM front end (at least for viewing, I think). It is available via
- anonymous ftp from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu. Now, before I get deluged with
- mail ("I can't find it!") look in /pub/uploads (and its
- subdirectories) and check the list /pub/os2/00Index. If you check
- both places, you'll find anything on ftp-os2.nmsu.edu. If it isn't
- there, it soon will be, so check back in a week or two.
-
- I'm glad someone else is thinking about writing attractive front ends
- to the more popular applications, like Zip and Zoo. I was thinking of
- writing one for the recent GhostScript 2.5.2 Version 1.1 port to OS/2.
-
- While I'm at it, would anyone care to volunteer to write some clever
- REXX code which implements a command line COPY that supports long
- filenames to floppies (using the extended attributes technique
- employed by a copy using the drive objects)? Bonus points for
- implementing a DIR which will display all the long filenames on a
- floppy. Should be some reasonably trivial REXX code. But do make it
- compatible with the Workplace Shell's method.
