- There have been several posts indicating that OS/2 with the SP installed
- "has problems with paths longer than 32 characters". Can someone tell me
- what this means? Does it refer to the PATH environment variable? (Can't be,
- can it? Any decent PATH would have more than that!) Does it refer to the
- path to a specific file? I'm confused.
-
- (Context: recently, after installing SP, something went seriously wrong
- with my system. I took it as a Sign from Above that it was time to reformat
- and install OS/2 in an HPFS partition, which I have done. I haven't yet
- reinstalled the SP, and would like to know what to expect before I do...)
