- Another interesting (?) thing about this. After having installed OS/2
- on the new drive once, I found that I was unable to access the drive
- with DOS FDISK. (Even after turning the machine off, waiting the
- proverbial 10 seconds, and booting a DOS floppy!). That is, somehow,
- OS/2 broke my hard disk. I seem to remember reading something in the
- dox about how once you've installed OS/2, you can never really get rid
- of it. Is there some way to restore the drive to the factory condition,
- or do I have to take it back to the store? (I was able to re-install
- OS/2 on the drive, seemingly w/o problems, but I may at some point
- decide to trash OS/2 entirely, and I'd hate to have to trash the drive
- as well)
