  12. I don't know if anybody else has run across this bug or not, but I
  13. found it and a solution:

  15. Since installing the service pack (XR-6055) Procomm plus would cause
  16. problems.  I would launch it from its migrated icon, it would run
  17. fine.  And the next session I launched after quitting PCPLUS would
  18. crash the system.  (everything running, but mouse and keyboard being
  19. ignored).

  21. Well, I found that this problem didn't occur if I launched PCPLUS from
  22. an already-running DOS session.  The settings for the icon and the DOS
  23. session matched, though.  I re-migrated PCPLUS (and all my other DOS
  24. and Windows apps, just to make sure) and replaced the icons with the
  25. newly-migrated ones.  The problem seems to have completely
  26. disappeared.

  28. So, if anyone has problems with OS/2 crashing after exitting DOS
  29. sessions, I suggest you delete your program icons for these apps and
  30. migrate them into WPS a second time.  Apparantly, something in the GA
  31. release (XR-2000) messed up some of the program's EA's or INI
  32. settings, which clobbered XR-6055.  Re-migrating cured everything.
