- I don't know if anybody else has run across this bug or not, but I
- found it and a solution:
-
- Since installing the service pack (XR-6055) Procomm plus would cause
- problems. I would launch it from its migrated icon, it would run
- fine. And the next session I launched after quitting PCPLUS would
- crash the system. (everything running, but mouse and keyboard being
- ignored).
-
- Well, I found that this problem didn't occur if I launched PCPLUS from
- an already-running DOS session. The settings for the icon and the DOS
- session matched, though. I re-migrated PCPLUS (and all my other DOS
- and Windows apps, just to make sure) and replaced the icons with the
- newly-migrated ones. The problem seems to have completely
- disappeared.
-
- So, if anyone has problems with OS/2 crashing after exitting DOS
- sessions, I suggest you delete your program icons for these apps and
- migrate them into WPS a second time. Apparantly, something in the GA
- release (XR-2000) messed up some of the program's EA's or INI
- settings, which clobbered XR-6055. Re-migrating cured everything.
