  16. I've gotten the Tseng drivers to work *fairly* well, but I'm still having problems. I've got a few gifs that
  17. I've been trying to convert properly to bitmaps for the OS/2 desktop. I'm using VPIC 5.0, and initially the
  18. converted bmps look fine when viewed under VPIC, but when placed as the desktop background it looks terrible! All
  19. the colors are screwed, and even a little blurry. It looks as though the drivers are still in 16 color mode, but
  20. from looking at the color pallete after installing the 800X600X256 drivers, this doesn't seem to be the case. Anyone
  21. else have problems putting up 256 color bitmaps for the background?? Also, when I go from the standard desktop to
  22. 800x600, some fonts that have been converted from the windows library MORICONS.DLL go black and white. What can I do
  23. to bring them back to their original state under high resolutions?? Any suggestions would be most helpful.
