- I've gotten the Tseng drivers to work *fairly* well, but I'm still having problems. I've got a few gifs that
- I've been trying to convert properly to bitmaps for the OS/2 desktop. I'm using VPIC 5.0, and initially the
- converted bmps look fine when viewed under VPIC, but when placed as the desktop background it looks terrible! All
- the colors are screwed, and even a little blurry. It looks as though the drivers are still in 16 color mode, but
- from looking at the color pallete after installing the 800X600X256 drivers, this doesn't seem to be the case. Anyone
- else have problems putting up 256 color bitmaps for the background?? Also, when I go from the standard desktop to
- 800x600, some fonts that have been converted from the windows library MORICONS.DLL go black and white. What can I do
- to bring them back to their original state under high resolutions?? Any suggestions would be most helpful.
