- most is true, but not all: At least Pharlap has a version of its DOS extender
- that provides virtual memory. Other extenders which rely on a DPMI server
- (such as 386MAX or QEMM with Quarterdeck's new QDPMI driver or within a DOS
- box inside MS-WINDOWS) should provide it, too, since DPMI provides virtual
- memory. I don't know if this is true for all DPMI servers, but at least QDPMI
- and the DOS box do.

- Watcom and Metaware both work together with PharLap, according to their
- advertisements. Watcom claims VM up to 32MB whith the (included) Rational
- Systems DOS extender. Metaware is available with optional PharLap,
- don't know if this is the VM version. Pricing is about the same.
