  14. I have reliable inside information stating that DOS 17.0 will break
  15. the 1MB barrier and DOS 23.0 will add preemptive multitasking.
  16. The bugs and incompatibilities these features will spawn will be
  17. cleared by the time we reach release 34.52d
  18.  
  19. The bottom line:
  20. If you want an operating system which will:
  21. - Address more than 1MB
  22. - Multitask
  23. - Run your old DOS software
  24. - Have those goodies you allways wanted and DOS lacked
  25. Use OS/2 or Win/NT or any other OS capable of the above
  26. and forget about DOS.  What do you care about a name as long as the
  27. features are right?
