- In a prior message, I made comment about having some problem with booting
- using LILO version 5 (got errors about getting to the superblock).

- I've installed the version 6 copy of LILO and notice the same problem. For
- a sanity check, I even blew away the linux partition, and started from scratch
- but with installing lilo version 6 first, before attempting to modify the
- boot record (thank god for ms-dos' fdisk /mbr). Still got the same result.

- I'm going to start looking at some of the LILO code, along with pulling
- out a copy of Tannenbaum's book that's sitting on my shelf...maybe I
- can get some idea as to what's happening.
