- I have been using linux for about a month now and I have been having
- trouble compliling X programs. It seems like my X shared libs are not in
- proper working order :-) An example: I recently d/l-ed Seyon1.0.
- Everything compile fine, but when run it died due to signal 11 in
- XtAppInitialize. I changed the Makefile line: LIBS = -lXaw -LXt, etc, to
- LIBS = /usr/X386/lib/libXaw.a /usr/X386/lib/libXt.a, etc and it ran fine.
- Has anyone else run into this? Do I have my system installed improperly?
- My system: 486/33, 16 MB memory, running 0.98 pl 5. I've had this problem
- thru patch levels 1-5, so I don't think it's patch level dependent.
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated.
