- Hi, Linux'ers.
- I plan to ran Linux/xfree86 on my box. I am looking for a GOOD video
- card. Some basic requirements: it must be compatible with xfree86, it must
- support 1024x768 NON-interlaced (optional HiColor if possible), it
- MUST have a high refresh rate >= 72hz, accelerator chip (et4000, etc.)
- would be very good to have too. Currently I have Tseng Labs et4000 card,
- I like it in general, but 65hz refresh rate is killing my eyes. So I'm
- looking for some other card within the same price range (more or less).
- et4000 card with >= 72hz refresh rate would be ideal. If anyone can HELP me,
- please do so :)
-
- Thanks to all the people who devote their time to Linux!
-
- Leo.
