  14. Has anybody besides myself noticed that selection doesn't seem to work
  15. under 98p5?

  17. Also, I can't use VC1!  If I ry to login there, the motd comes up, and
  18. then  the VC apparently stops working.  The only thing left to do is
  19. to log in to another VC and kill the shell in that window.  If I log
  20. in as top (which uses /usr/bin/top as the login shell), then I get the
  21. following error:
  22. stdin is not there
  23. stdin must be a tty
  24.  
  25. naturally, I'm very confused.

  27. Also, I frequently get the message
  28. tty_release: TTYTABLE[2] is null
  29.  
  30. (or words to that effect).  Any clues there?
