  28. Okay.  For the hell of it I tried replacing my /etc/termcap with the
  29. one supplied by joe.  I am not in the habbit of getting my system
  30. files from applications, but there is a first for everything.  Anyway,
  31. joe now seems to work fine in both X and text mode.  Also, vi and 
  32. emacs seem no worse for wear.

  34. So the questions is:  WILL THE REAL TERMCAP PLEASE STEP FORWARD.
  35. The termcap that I was using (and that doesn't work with the new
  36. joe) came from HJ's boot/root disk.  Who maintains that linux TERMCAP?
