  10. nic.funet.fi , /pub/OS/incoming should contain the file ircII.tar.Z
  11. I dunno how this is handled, probably the author of this client should include
  12. a client that support a -DLINUX flag. (Which I doubt, concerning the confusing
  13. file arrangment in /usr/include .. *snicker*)

  15. When U compile the client, you'll get A LOT of warnings ... ignore them.
  16. Also, it would be nice if more experienced Linuxers than I would look at the
  17. code ... there was something wrong with those TCIOGW ??? which suddenly dis-
  18. appeared after including/omitting the right header files.

  20. The binary itself is 200KB large, which is rather small, compared to the same
  21. client on the SunSparc (600KB). I guess I will switch off the -g compiler flag
  22. on the Sparc, too :-)
