- I am looking for the binaries to gcc, so that I can start using linux as more than a tool to look at text files.
-
- I have tried downloading the binaries for as86 and gcc from tsx-11.mit.edu, but
-
- gcc no longer exists there (except as source, for which I would need a compiler)
- when untar'd, as86 produces some 'binaries', which when run give the message
- cannot run binary image
- or something to that effect.
-
- Help???!??!@?
-
- PLEASE.
- Andy
