  14. I have recently installed the full base system (not X11) on an 486. Linux have
  15. 35 Mb and 4Mb swap on the hd. It installed all fine and well, but now I'm 
  16. having some problems.

  18. 1) It seems that I can't add users using the "adduser" in "menu". Is it broken
  19. or what ? First of all if doesn't give me choices for uid or gid and then it 
  20. doen't create the home directory specified (BTW isn't it kind of stupid having
  21. /usr/users/username as default when /usr/users doesn't even exist ?) How do I
  22. chnge these things ? (I've looked for the source but I didn't find it). All in
  23. all adduser is quite useless for me. (Yes I do know how to add users by hand
  24. , but it is tedious (sp?) :-)

  26. 2) How do  change the default editor in 
  27.     i) Elm (yes I know that you can change it in options, I want to know 
  28.     how to make joe or emacs the default editor for every user who chooses 
  29.     to use elm) ?
  30. now it's vi which I , for one , don't understand the least.

  32. 3) Where are the info files for emacs ? the only ones I got are UUCP.

  38. answers to these questions (I found answers to many other questions though:-)
