- Hi. I have a second hand 3COM Etherlink II TP. I understand that
- Linux tcpip requires memory mapped ethernet cards. From looking
- at the jumpers on the card, it seems that the board is memory
- mapped. My question then is, can I use this card with Linux?
- It has an I/O base 300 and memory base D8000 by default. Can
- I just change the values in Space.c and use it? I am told that
- it is a 16k card.
-
- I know nothing about this board because I have no manual. If you
- have ever heard of this card or are using one, please post.
-
- Also, is anyone successfully using an ethernet board other than
- the WD8003, WD8013, or SMC Elite 16? Since WD no longer sells
- cards to my knowledge, my options are quite limited.
-
- Many thanks in advance.
