- the tail end of such things is typically not terribly difficult.

- The spec of the format (I assume that's what you're after) is
- contained in ISO/IEC 8636-1 to -4. Sadly, even though that's just
- been revised, due to a cock-up by CEN/CENELEC the revised version may
- not be published (REALLY!) as a national standard in Europe. The
- latest version is therefore only available (very expensive) direct
- from ISO in Geneva, or (presumably) from ANSI and other non-European
- national bodies.
