- If anyone has any good experiences (or bad ones too) with any of the
- numerous projection devices, I would love to hear from you.
-
- Many "say" they are compatible with "multimedia" and are thus capable
- of 30 frames per second. My guess is that they are still shy of video
- full motion.
-
- Other than the obvious disadvantages to going with the 3 gun projectors
- (SONY, BARCO etc), what are the ADVANTAGES? Do they meet the speed
- necessary for multimedia and are they still brighter and clearer?
-
- Does anyone have anything specific to say about the SAYETTE "MediaShow"
- or the new BARCO 500 model?
-
- (let me list the Disadvantages for the 3-gun devices as I see them just
- for the record: too heavy (80 lbs. thus not too "portable")
- too hard to set up and focus (8 hrs. some have told me)
- too hard to change screen size or location because of above
- too expensive to replace bulbs (>$2,000)
- _______________ (you fill in this one)
-
-
- Any advice, especially on these 2 models will be GREATLY appreciated since
- we HAVE to purchase one in next month.
